NewVo Blues and the organizers of Bluesalicious regret to inform you that the exchange will not happen in 2011. Thanks to everyone who attended Bluesalicious in past years.
We can't thank everyone enough for their attendance, participation, and support of past events. It's been a wonderful 3 years! Special thanks to our awesome DJs, the new friends we made along the way, and others who shared the dance floors with us (no matter how grimy they got!).

Other Blues dancing in Memphis
If you're an out of town dancer who still wants to check out the Memphis blues, we do have events that go on regularly.
Every 1st & 3rd Thursday is our area live Blues Jam at Neil's from 7-11pm. This is a place where you can dance your heart out for only $5! You never know who you'll get to hear at Neil's, whether it's members or guests of the Memphis Blues Society.
The place is 18+ only, since smoking is allowed, but they do serve food & have a full bar. Free housing may be available on your way through town, or stay at our local hostel, Pilgrim House. It is clean, only $15 a night, and close to Downtown.
Beale Street is always a good option for live blues, just about any night of the week. Personally, we recommend the smaller, more authentic experiences that can be found at places like Earnestine & Hazel's and Wild Bill's.
